New
Goyette Offices - Pontiac, MI
We
are pleased to announce the opening of a new
office and warehouse located in the heart of
Oakland County. The new facility is located
at 1733 Highwood East, in Pontiac, Michigan.
For Over 78 years Goyette Mechanical has been
providing heating, cooling, ventilation and
refrigeration services throughout Michigan.
We have hundreds of service customers in Oakland
County that range from residential and commercial
to even the larger industrial facilities including
health care and hospitals.
“With such an established need in the area for
quality service, it was an easy decision to
put an office there.” commented Curt LaLonde,
General Manager of Goyette. “Our goal is to
help our customers reduce energy costs and enhance
comfort levels. With this type of partnership
between the company and the customer, satisfaction
is not only inevitable, it's guaranteed.”
Goyette
Industrial Division - Bigger is Better
Tom Goyette, Project Manager
Goyette
Mechanical has once again landed a very interesting
municipal project for the City of Detroit and
the Department of Water and Sewage.
This $18 million project is to rehabilitate and
improve an existing storm and sanitary pump station
near Mack and Cadieux on Detroit's Eastside. Goyette
has partnered with Jenkins Construction, a well-established
Detroit based company. “This job has some very
interesting qualities to it. This is a pump station
that was built in the '50s and because of their
size, they don't get replaced very often. Most
municipalities don't need pumps this size, but
Detroit has a big area that they serve and the
amount of storm water and sewer requires a number
of these pumps stations around the city to handle
all of that water and waste.”
Goyette Mechanical's portion of the work includes
plumbing to the existing locker room, an overhaul
of the heat and ventilation system and replacing
all of the existing storm and sanitary pumps.
Assisted
Living Facility
Tim Goyette, Special Projects
Division Manager
At Goyette Mechanical, we are tirelessly looking
for ways to expand, augment and improve because
in this business, standing still will get you
left behind. Special Projects Division Manager,
Tim Goyette, is taking the reins on what is a
very important job for the company.
The job is an Assisted Living Facility for the
Saginaw Veterans of America, in Buena Vista Township.
This ended up being a interesting job because
we weren't the lowest price. The contractor, O'Brien
Construction, was interested in having one company
doing everything because sometimes the general
contractor has to make sure one guy doesn't get
in front of another guy and so on. Having one
company handle all the areas of installation,
makes their jobs much easier, and the project
goes smoother and it gets done faster.”
“This is the kind of thing that we will be looking
for in the future. When we show this to be successful,
it will change how we do business.”
The experts at Goyette Mechanical continuously
toil to do things better to help our customers
solve problems. This dedication has kept us in
business through three generations and will certainly
do so for many more to come.
Reaching
For The Stars
Curt LaLonde, General Manager
Goyette Mechanical Service Company, based in Flint,
recently earned the prestigious Star Rating thru
it's trade association, Mechanical Service Contractors
of America (MSCA). General Manager Curt Lalonde
says that being Star rated by MSCA places Goyette
Mechanical in the top 1% of plumbing, heating
and cooling service companies in the nation in
regards to training, quality of product delivery
and safety.
100% of Goyette's technicians are Star Certified
or in the process to become certified on a specific
timeline. The company is also required to re-certify
bi-annually.
“What this means to our customers is that they
can be assured that a trained technician will
perform their job in a safe and professional manner
and will also be equipped with the proper tools
and parts to complete the job the first time,”
says Lalonde.
“It pays off both in the short and long run to
go with a trained technician, even at an increased
hourly cost. The job is generally completed quicker
and more accurately, costing the customer much
less as the end result.”
The company was founded in Flint in 1928 by Leo
Goyette, grandfather to the current president
Dominic Goyette who states, “We are proud to be
recognized as an MSCA Star contractor. It will
prove beneficial to both our customers and our
company.”
